What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
Effective September 2026.
What we collect
When you contact us we collect what you choose to tell us: your name, phone number, email address, town, and a description of the help you are looking for. If care begins, we also keep the practical details needed to deliver it safely — the schedule, the tasks agreed, who else is involved, and the notes caregivers write after each visit.
When you apply for a caregiver role we collect the details on the application form, your references, and the results of the background checks required before a first shift.
What we collect through this website
Through the forms on this site we collect your name, phone number, email address, your town, and whatever you choose to write in a message field.
Please do not send medical details through a web form. That includes diagnoses, medication lists, test results or any other health information. Web forms are not the right place for it. Call us at (339) 888-8686 and we will take those details by phone.
Massachusetts law
Kinstead Home Care LLC is a Massachusetts company and follows Massachusetts law on the protection of personal information, including 201 CMR 17.00, the Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth. We maintain a Written Information Security Program covering how personal information is collected, stored, accessed and disposed of. We limit the personal information we collect to what is reasonably necessary, restrict access to staff who need it, and require our service providers to maintain comparable safeguards.
Why we collect it
To answer your question, to arrange and deliver care, to employ and pay caregivers, and to meet our legal and insurance obligations. That is the whole list.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with lead brokers.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to do the work: the caregiver assigned to your household, the owner, and service providers we rely on to run the business, such as payroll, insurance and background screening. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where there is a serious and immediate risk to someone's safety.
This website
The site uses the minimum needed to work and to understand which pages people find useful. It does not require an account. If we add analytics or advertising tools, this page will be updated to say so before they are used.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become care are kept for up to twenty-four months and then deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner by writing to care@kinsteadhomecare.com, and we will confirm once it is done. Records connected to care delivered or employment are kept for as long as our legal, insurance and tax obligations require.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Write to care@kinsteadhomecare.com and a person will answer you.
